Bring books for the Children's Book Project to every meeting!

We are collecting books to give to elementary students at the end of the year.

Books should be new.

We need books for students prekindergarten through grade 5.

Community Service Projects

RAINBOW ROOM CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES:  Please bring your donations for the Rainbow Room at Family Child Protective Services to our monthly meetings. Collection boxes are available at each meeting. Items will be deliverd to CPS three times during the year.

Items are needed for children who are removed quickly from their homes because of an abusive or negectful setting. See your yearbook, page 34, for items to contribute.

EYEGLASSES:  Again this year we will collect prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses for adults and children. The frames can be metal or plastic. Collections will be from October to April. Hearing aids are also accepted.

After our collections are complete, we will give the glasses to the local Lion's Club and they will send the glasses to the recycling center. Volunteers will clean, sort by prescription strength, and package the glasses.
