Welcome to the Brazos County Retired School Personnel website. Our organization is a local unit of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and is for ALL retired school employees. TRTA has canceled all in person monthly meetings for the fall.  Our first meeting will be September 23rd and it will be a ZOOM Meeting.  Look for details in your email as the date approaches!

Stay safe.  Wash your hands! Socially distance yourselves until this gets better.

Your BCRSP Executive Board

BCRSP's theme for this year is "All Aboard for TRTA" and we would be pleased to have you join our organization if you are not currently a member.

We meet at 11:30 a.m. on the 4th Wednesday, September through May except for November and December. On those months, our meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday. As of September, 2020 all meetings will be held using Zoom.  Plans for meeting beginning January 2021 will be announced later this fall.

Our meeting place for 2020-21 will hopefully once again be The Hilton College Station & Conference Center 801 University Drive East, College Station, TX 77840 when in person meetings are possible.

Attendance at the meetings is not required for membership, but we would love to have you come! Our monthly meeting programs are entertaining and contain important information about pertinent topics that are relevant to retirees.  For information about joining BCRSP and TRTA please contact Frances Maloney, 1st Vice-President at famaloney@gmail.com or download a membership application under the Forms link.

Congratulation to our former president, Mildred Davis!  She has been selected by the Girl Scouts of Central Texas as a Woman of Distinction for 2020!  This honor is awarded to women whose professional accomplishments and community contributions inspire girls to become the next generation of leaders.
