LSPRTA

We are Lubbock South Plains Retired Teachers Association

LSPRTA is the local unit of TRTA working to promote the professional, economic, intellectual, social, and healthy well-being of Region 17's retired school employees and their spouses who receive Texas retirement benefits plus retirees from other Texas districts and other states.

We encourage volunteerism in the community, as well as providing advocacy for all public school and higher education retirees.  We know strength lies in our membership and welcome new members any time.  Contact Lynn Haley (sidebar information) or come to a meeting.

Our meetings are the fourth Thursday of September, October, January, February, March, April, and May. In November and December we meet on the third Thursday of the month.

Our meeting time is  11:30.  Most folks come early to sign in and socialize.

We meet at  Lubbock Womens Club, 2020 Broadway Street, Lubbock TX 79401
