A Note from Vice President Margaret McCord:

Thank you for continuing to support the Texas Retired Teachers Association and Grayson County Retired School Personnel Association with your membership. Please invite anyone supporting retired education personnel to join and participate in our local meetings.

We will meet seven times this 2018-2019 year and have some interesting programs planned. Our meetings in Grandy's meeting room start with optional lunch on your own at 11:30 with the program starting at 12 noon.

The business meeting will take place after the program with valuable information from TRTA and our local legislative committee.

Members are encouraged to bring school supplies and books to be donated to CPS.

TRTA is Your only voice in the Texas Capitol on issues like TRS-Care!

TRTA:  TEAMWORK IS KEY

Please share the meeting information by phone and in emails to your retired teacher friends and post on Facebook.  We need to use social media to reach out to grow our unit.

BOOKS - BOOKS - BOOKS - BOOKS !!!!!!

Remember to bring children's books to each meeting for distribution by Grayson County CPS.
