Submit Your New Local Unit Webpage Information By Completing This Form
DUE MAY 31!
Dear Patricia,
The Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) is revamping the local unit websites. As a part of this process, the TRTA state office will be managing the new local unit pages, which will reside on TRTA.org. Currently, the local unit pages are on localunits.org.

Once you complete this form, TRTA will take the information and start creating your new page. The new pages will be launched on July 1. The deadline to complete this form is May 31.

COMPLETING THE FORM REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT.
What is a Google account?
A Google account is not the same thing as a Gmail account. But if you have a Gmail account, then you already have a Google account. A Google account is an account with Google that gives you access to the Google applications. The reason the form requires an account is so you can upload photos and files.
How do I create a Google account?
  • Go to google.com/account.
  • Choose create account. Choose for myself.
  • Enter your information.
  • Choose use my current email address instead.
  • Create a password.
  • Then confirm your account via the email that Google sends you.
What do I need to complete the form?
You should have the following:
  • A photo of your local unit.
  • A description of your local unit.
  • A link to your local unit Facebook page. (If applicable.)
  • A copy of your local unit's membership form in a PDF. (If applicable.)
What if I don't complete the form? Or if I want to continue to maintain my localunits.org site?

If you don't complete the form, your localunits.org site will continue to be live. The localunits.org site will still continue to be supported for those who choose not to switch to the TRTA.org page.

What if I need to update my new local page? Where will these forms be located in the future?
There's a separate form that can be used for submitting update requests to the new pages. The local unit forms are located at TRTA.org/localforms.

You can learn more via the resource guide here.

Please let me know if you have any questions or issues.
