Mission Statement

TRTA shall promote the professional, economic, intellectual, social, and physical well-being of its members; shall encourage volunteer opportunities in the community; and, shall provide advocacy for improved retirement benefits for all public school and higher education retirees.

If you pay by monthly withdrawal from your annuity or with bank draft, please send only your $10 local dues.
Some of you might be interested in joining as a Diamond Plus member!  With this program you get a one-time plastic membership card (saving TRTA money),
your state dues are deducted from your monthly annuity {$2.92}), and each spring you only pay local dues.

September 8, 2015  9:30 a.m. Meeting at District !5 Education Service Center 612 South Irene Street ( near corner of Bell Street and Rio Concho Drive) San Angelo, Texas-  Speakers are Tim  Lee TRTA Executive Director, and Legislators that represents the District 15 TRTA-Representative Drew Darby, Senator Charles Perry, Representative Jim Keffer, Representative J.D.Sheffield, Representative Andy Murr, Senator Troy Fraser and Senator Craig Estes.

September 15, 2015 Reception for retiring Representative Jim Keffer at Early Chamber of Commerce Building 104 East Industial Drive, Early, Texas from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

October 15, 2015  District 15 TRTA Fall Convention at Comanche First Methodist Church 217 Grande Avenue Comanche, Texas starting with coffee and registration from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Meeting will follow registration.

May 13, 2016  Spring Leadership Training- Coleman First Baptist Church Family Life Center 200 East College, Coleman, Texas  from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Coffee and registration starting at 9:00 a.m.
